Serving adults in Chicago & statewide in Illinois via telehealth
Specialties: Complex Trauma, ADHD, Somatic Therapy, Art Therapy, LGBTQIA2S+ Affirming Therapy, EMDR Therapy
Private pay therapy for adults seeking depth-oriented, holistic & neurodivergent-affirming care.
I work with highly observant, emotionally perceptive adults with busy minds who have spent years quietly carrying more than others realize. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA2S+ folx, ADHD/ AuDHD individuals, and complex trauma survivors — who are tired of feeling pathologized, misunderstood, and dismissed living in systems that were never designed to support their brains, bodies, or identities.
My Lived Experience
My work is deeply informed by my own lived experience navigating neurodivergent burnout, ADHD, complex trauma, queer identity, chronic pain & illness, and the long-term effects of living under persistent stress.
Like many of my clients, I learned firsthand what it feels like to function within systems that were not built for my brain, body, or identity. Years of survival mode eventually caught up with me. My health forced me to slow down and begin listening to what my nervous system had been asking for all along — boundaries, rest, pacing, community, and authenticity.
Through my own healing process I’ve learned:
how unmasking relates to burnout and nervous system collapse
the importance of boundaries, accommodations, and self-advocacy
the impact of chronic stress on the body
how honoring capacity, pacing, and energy levels improves sense of self-worth
how reconnecting with authenticity and community supports healing
My voice and my health became powerful tools of agency — reminders that autonomy often begins with listening to what your body already knows.
These experiences inform how I hold space;
with humility, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s autonomy.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed how traditional medical models often overlook the social, cultural, and systemic factors that shape our mental health. Many people come into therapy carrying internalized shame from being misunderstood within systems that weren’t built for their nervous systems or identities.
My work is grounded in:
anti-ableist and anti-shame frameworks
trauma-informed and somatic therapy practices
LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care
relational, collaborative therapy
honoring lived experience and personal agency
Rather than focusing on “fixing” you, we explore how your nervous system adapted to survive — and how those adaptations may no longer feel sustainable.

My Philosophy
Therapy with me is compassionate, collaborative with a dash of humor and grounded in your lived reality. You are not a problem to be fixed. Your nervous system adapted to survive what it went through.
Healing isn’t about becoming the ‘most perfect’ version of yourself — it’s about reconnecting with who you are at your core in a way that feels sustainable, embodied, and true to your values.
My goal is to help you develop insight, tools, and self-trust so you feel more grounded in your life — ideally reaching a point where you don’t need therapy in the same way, or as often.
Therapy becomes a space to understand yourself with compassion instead of criticism.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the intersection of trauma, neurodivergence, chronic stress, and queer identity, who approaches therapy through an anti-oppressive, non-pathologizing lens
I invite you to reach out to me today.
You don’t have to go through this alone.
A short consultation is simply a space to see whether working together feels supportive.
