Healing through Creativity and Mind-Body Connection
Land Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that my work takes place on the traditional homelands of the Council of the Three Fires; the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples, as well as the Miami, Ho-Chunk, and Menominee Nations, among many other Indigenous communities who have lived, traveled, and cared for this land for generations.
I recognize the ongoing presence, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous peoples today. As a therapist committed to anti-oppressive and decolonizing practices, I hold awareness of the ways colonization has shaped healthcare systems and healing spaces, and I strive to practice in ways that honor community care, autonomy, and respect for diverse ways of knowing and healing.
Vision
At the core of Dragonfly Alchemy, I envisioned a space where you can feel truly empowered, attuned to your body’s innate wisdom, and aligned with your deepest values. Healing is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but reconnecting to what has always been grounded, wise, and whole within you. My work honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and creativity, blending trauma-informed care with intuitive, expressive practices.
Dragonfly Alchemy was founded on principles of holistic, compassionate, and creative healing. My approach integrates Somatic Experiencing, Art Therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed DBT and IFS to support individuals healing from C-PTSD, traumatic experiences, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and navigating identity exploration. I believe in the power of the nervous system to reshape itself, creativity to reveal what words cannot, and the transformative nature of a therapeutic relationship built on mutual respect, trust, and open communication to alchemize what once felt impossible.
